Michael Gongora is a true connector of people — whether he’s wrangling a crew for one of his films, finding someone’s ideal home as a Real Estate Agent. A Cuban-American with a zest for life and opportunities, Michael’s high energy has often been called infectious and inspirational.
Having made short films since the age of 14, Michael graduated from the New School in 1998 with a degree in Film and went on to write for HBO. He also writes and directs his own films, including a feature film entitled “All the Wrong Faces” and many screenplays-in-progress, from television sitcoms to edgy shorts. Michael is also experienced in digital content. From writing for E! Online to producing web videos, he has kept a pop culture blog at YoSkippy.com for over 10 years and even finds time to build WordPress sites for local businesses in NYC.
In his spare time, Michael loves to see the world and the many people in it, always with a camera in hand. He travels many times a year and has lived abroad in such diverse locations as Sydney and Amsterdam. He makes his home in Hudson Heights in NYC, where he was born and raised. He is a passionate New Yorker and enjoys biking, walking his dog – and, of course, meeting new and interesting people wherever he goes.
